Marin Bocce Federation is a unique nonprofit sports facility right here in San Rafael, serving Marin county and beyond.
Bocce is a game that is easy to play for all ages and skill levels, and it is a great way to spend a few hours in the company of your friends, family and neighbors.
Marin Bocce Federation has eight leagues. Three day leagues (Monday, Wednesday and Thursday) and five night leagues, M-F.
Our facility is located adjacent to Albert Park in downtown San Rafael, and typically has about 1,200 league players active in 160 teams in its daytime and evening leagues combined.
Marin Bocce Federation has multiple day and night leagues. We host a number of local and regional tournaments with a nice blend of competition and social fun. Residents in our county and surrounding areas are invited to join league.
We are open to the public for “open play” on certain days of the week. We love teaching new players how to play bocce.
Come join us and see what it’s all about. We will be happy to introduce the game to you. We have clinics and instructional lessons for new players and existing players to sharpen their skills and improve their game.

Our Mission
We are dedicated to promoting the game of bocce to all local citizens, in order to enhance their social and physical well-being. As a non-profit, public benefit corporation, we utilize volunteers and community support to provide a low-cost activity at the Marin Bocce Federation facility. We promote bocce without regard to race, age or ethnic background. However, we do make a special effort to meet the needs of the physically challenged and older members of the community.
